Rediscover God's Love

What To Expect

All people are welcome at Unity Hill UCC. Period.

If you are worshipping with us for the first time: Welcome!

Here are a few things you may want to know:

All people are welcome at Unity Hill UCC. Period. If you have never been in a church before, that’s OK. If you are familiar with another worship tradition, that’s OK too. We have no “tests” before you are allowed to participate fully in all we do.

What should I wear?

That means no dress code, either. Some of your fellow worshipers will be in jeans and T-shirts or flannel. Others will be in suits or “Sunday best” dresses. Wear what you are comfortable in.

What do I do during a Service?

You will be welcomed at the door by a greeter. The greeter will hand you the “Bulletin”. This is your step-by-step guide to what will happen in the service. You may sit wherever you choose. We sing hymns from the hymnal each Sunday; your Bulletin will tell you which one in the hymnal. If you don’t want to sing or participate in readings, that’s fine. Copies of the Bible are provided in each pew so you may follow along as the passages selected for the day are read from the pulpit.

Is childcare provided?

Your children and youth are welcome here. There are Christian Education programs offered for preschool through 8th grade. Sunday school begins at 10:30 (September thru May).

What Do I Do After Church?

Following the 10:30 a.m. worship service those who wish to stay are welcome to share coffee and fellowship in Lynch Hall. Please join us!

How Can I Join?

Becoming a member of Unity Hill UCC is a simple process. Just express your desire to join to our Pastor.

No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.
